My GB News Experience – Kicking Off 2025 with Sustainable Fashion

My GB News Experience – Kicking Off 2025 with Sustainable Fashion

Yesterday morning, I had the incredible opportunity to appear on GB News, where I shared insights on New Year fashion trends and the rising importance of sustainable fashion. It was an amazing experience to be part of the conversation about how we can refresh our wardrobes for 2025 while being mindful of the environment.

One of the key topics we discussed was upcycling—a concept close to my heart. Upcycling is more than just a trend; it’s a powerful way to reduce waste, promote creativity, and embrace unique, bold styles. I believe that by reimagining what’s already in our closets, we can create fashion that not only looks great but also makes a positive impact on the planet.

During the segment, I highlighted a few key fashion ideas for the New Year:

Bold colours and patterns: Whether it’s bright tones or vibrant prints, adding a pop of color is an easy way to refresh your look.

Sustainable choices: Upcycled pieces, thrifted finds, and locally made clothing are great ways to reduce your fashion footprint.

Personal style: Fashion should always reflect your personality. It’s about feeling confident, comfortable, and uniquely you!

I left the studio feeling inspired and more determined than ever to continue advocating for sustainability in fashion. In 2025, I’ll be focusing on expanding my upcycling workshops, collaborating with like-minded brands, and encouraging people to think differently about how they shop and dress.

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to speak on such an important topic and can’t wait to do it again soon! A big thank you to the team at GB News for having me and making the experience so enjoyable.

Here’s to a stylish, confident, and sustainable 2025!
